Cerveteri - other parts of the cemetery
As well as the underground tombs there are shaft graves too in the Cerveteri cemetery.
They are just cut down into the stone.
A road was built from the town to the cemetery with tracks like a railway.
It was to make it easier for the carriages to carry coffins.
